NMX Sports is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization that will give interested youth the opportunity to become involved in non-traditional or “extreme” sports and visual/musical arts.
Surveys show that an overwhelming 90% of kids want to participate in the sports that NMX will represent, but only 20% are participating. There are currently few or no programs to solve this problem and NMX is determined to change this situation and provide kids the opportunities they deserve.
Our goal is to engage New Mexico kids from 12 to 18 years old in outdoor activities that appeal to them. These activities will be conducted in a safe, structured and supervised environment. NMX Sports will teach and stress important life skills that benefit the kids, the community, their families and it will enhance the way our members live their lives. Through empowering these kids within the organization and introducing them to community involvement, we intend to help create a better generation arising from New Mexico.
NMX and TruFit
Due to the success of the NMX program over the last few years a new plan to expand this youth organization has developed in an attempt to reach kids across the nation. TruFit supports the mission of NMX and will be contributing to this organization through monetary donations and product support. Our goal is to educate these youth on proper exercise and nutrition principals that support their active lifestyle. NMX youth are setting the example everyday. By helping work with TruFit they not only develop necessary fitness skills but they show their peers how rewarding life can be when you take action and prepare yourself for life!
