
At TruFit we talk a lot about Outdoor Sports and Recreation as a way to live an active lifestyle. So what exactly do we mean by Outdoor Fitness and how is this different from regular exercise?
To start, Outdoor Fitness isn’t just performing outdoor workouts. It’s strictly trail running, climbing or surfing. Outdoor Fitness is training for the pursuit of a challenge and performing workouts that support the activities you want to do tomorrow, next week and next year.
Our mission at TruFit is to educate and inspire youth to pursue an active lifestyle. Train smarter now and have more abilities when you go outside to play. Hiking further, climbing harder, paddling stronger and being overall prepared for life is what it means to be TruFit. Our workouts support the outdoor enthusiast and provide the platform for a life filled with fun activities. We don’t stop playing just because we grow older, instead we train smarter so that our age doesn’t matter.
This is Outdoor Fitness, everyone is invited. You can do it with a Slackline, a Kettlebell, the UNIT or a skateboard, at the gym, the beach or at a park. You can bring your kids and try to keep up. You can ask for help and meet like-minded people whose goals are more about how they perform. When you become TruFit you put fears aside and do what is necessary to achieve your dream. TruFit is about losing weight or building muscle, saving joints and improving flexibility, developing speed, power, coordination, agility and awareness all to support the challenges of the outdoor sports we do. Sharing ideas, concepts, skills and abilities; teaching others to improve yourself. That is TruFit!
At TruFit we understand that our activities require a unique individual strength in addition to supportive teammates. We are dedicated to helping you achieve that level of confidence and strength so that when you or a teammate need it, you have it. We hope that you use this motivation of Outdoor Fitness to try new sports and allow yourself the chance to discover and have fun. Remember that everything you do for the sake of your goal is important as it helps set the example for future generations. Fitness education has come a long way from what is mainstream today and we hope our message of Outdoor Fitness will inspire more kids and families to get outside, get moving and get TruFit.
